Mother’s Day was almost a week ago, but now that I’m a mom I pretty much get to the things that I want to get to a week late, so this is perfect. I have to say that over the last few years I have completely changed the way I shop. I used to never do my shopping online because I was always afraid the pieces I order wouldn’t fit me right. Now I just don’t have the time and patience to go to an actual store to shop so I take my time online and order only when I know that the items will fit right. 9 out of 10 times they do, so I must be doing something right. I think the best advice I can give is to try and focus on what you know looks good on you and try not to steer away too far. I absolutely love maxi dresses and especially ones with sleeves. I’ve never particularly liked showing my arms and to me there’s something so elegant about sleeves. This one I found while browsing the Nordstrom Rack website one day and I can’t even tell you how in love I am! It’s absolutely the most flattering and feminine dress ever and for $40, it’s a steal! It’s sold out now but the brand is Tassels n Lace. They had it in another color and I so wish I would’ve ordered that one as well. I’m one of those people that has one style of something in like 4 different colors hehe. I paired it with the comfiest slide sandal (all about comfort for this mom) and the cutest wide brim hat from Huxley and Harper. I love that it has a wide brim and is made of stiff material! I’m not a fan of floppy hats, they seem to get in the way of everything! Baby Emma was in the cutest dress from Gap, a head band from Wish for $1 and the sweetest sandals from Amazon! They are such great quality and only $9.99!!!
