I don’t know about you, but I love big portions when it comes to chips and dip! I also know how many calories that can add up to. I’m always looking for ways to cut calories without cutting flavor and this creamy avocado dip is the PERFECT example. If you love the consistency and texture of French Onion Dip, then you’ll love this recipe. And if you hate the calories and guilt that comes with eating a whole bowl of French Onion Dip, then make this dip!!! You can spice it up in different ways, but I just used what I had on hand. If you love cilantro, add that in for an extra kick of flavor. This is so easy to put together and not to mention you get so much protein from the Greek Yogurt!
- 1 avocado
- 1 7 oz container fat free Greek yogurt (I use Fage brand)
- 1 lime
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
- In a blender or food processor blend avocado, yogurt, and juice from one lime. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve with a bowl of tortilla chips or your favorite chip.
